Use cases
One terminal, four very different machines
Semi-unattended environments share a problem: payments must work every time, without staff nearby. Here is how NorPay is deployed sector by sector.

Vending & micro markets
MDB integration means the terminal talks to the machine controller directly, with cashless sales reported alongside existing telemetry. Retrofit an installed base without replacing the machine.
- MDB / DEX retrofit
- Cashless sales reporting
- Low-value contactless optimised

EV charging
Outdoor-rated hardware with pre-authorisation and post-session capture, so drivers tap once and are charged for the energy actually delivered. IP65 and IK09 ratings for roadside exposure.
- Pre-auth and deferred capture
- IP65 / IK09 rated
- Roadside and depot deployment

Transport & ticketing
Onboard and platform validators accept contactless fares directly, with offline tolerance for tunnels and dead zones. Pole or bulkhead mounting fits buses, trams and shuttles.
- Contactless open-loop fares
- Offline-tolerant transactions
- Pole / bulkhead mounting

Self-service kiosks
Panel-mount the terminal into ticketing, parcel locker or ordering kiosks and drive it over RS232, USB or LAN. Certification is already in place, so integration is an engineering task, not a compliance project.
- Panel-mount integration
- RS232 / USB / LAN
- Pre-certified EMV & PCI
Different machine type?
If it takes a payment without staff present, we have most likely integrated something similar.
